80272   imageGerman States, Saxony – 1850 3pf, group of two beautiful support clichés, one on celluloid in red-vermilion with dating March 1945 and Sperati`s characteristic production notes written around the area of design, also a very fine glass cliché with an impression of the stamp in a luminous white-gray. Five cancellation trials include a gray celluloid with two Leipzig datestamps, and four papers with working proofs of mute circular bar cds, numeral 15, Leipzig datemarks, and oval Leipzig datemark, all with Sperati`s production annotations. 80284 ,ROW Mi. 97 BIIK image1918, 5 mark greenish black and red, from the war printing, perf 25:17 with inverted centre, mint lightly hinged original gum and very fresh showing full sheet margin at left. The stamp has in supplement a scarce pre-printing paper fold. Only about ten examples of this iconic stamp are known, in this pristine condition it belongs to the finest recorded, as the majority have partial gum or no gum.
