Endorsed “Air mail via New York” and with blue Luftpost/par avion. British censorship label “Opened by Examiner 332” with an additional brown censorship label underneath. Also purple “Ae” censorship mark from the German censor in Frankfurt. 80325   image1865 KYDONEAE Consular PO cover with cancel from Kydonae in Asia with boxed "Eplirothi" (Paid) pmk in blue. Stamp was removed at that place before, part of the cancel still visible. Note: This pmk was apparently used in Kydoneae by the Greek consultae office there to mark the prepayment of postage up to Mytilene via Smyrna from where mail was forwarded to other destination, only few known.
