Underpaid by ½ anna but unusually mailed via Zanzibar with cds on reverse (Oct 31) with Ipswich arrival cds (Nov 21) alongside rather than the usual northbound route via Aden. Four pinholes in the envelope at left but a very scarce and early Whitfield King cover.rnrnNote: Whitfield King purchased the Post Office residue of the first issue stock in Autumn 1890, probably towards the end of August.
