image African Postcard Trove. One of our loyal customers is closing her postcard business, and she has arranged for us to sell her holdings in several lots. This one-carton lot has around 1,200 cards arranged in a semiorganized fashion by country. Cards are posted and unposted, standard and continental, mostly sleeved, and occasionally with some identification and pricing. We found RPPCs, lithos, chromes, and more. We noticed scenic views, street scenes, photos of wild animals and natural beauty, and depictions of the continent’s cultural and historical legacy. Condition is mixed, but most of the material is F-VF. Great addition to a collection or retail stock. (Image)
