Tour de force of classic and mid-century Austria and possessions in five Lighthouse/Elbe albums mounted on custom pages and well written up throughout. Cancel selection includes thimbles, many types of CDS and bridge types, blue and red ink. Republic era includes Dolfuss Scott #380 and a B110 single. Anschluss era material included, as well as three Plebiscite sets. Decent semis and airs. Possessions covered Bosnia, Lombardy Venetia, Montenegro, Military Post and Offices in the Levant and Crete. Fifth album is an Elbe slipcase of quadrille pages with mixed Austria and Hungarian cancels on stamps and on piece, classic to mid-century. A few are in mixed condition, but an interesting, eclectic assembly that looks like a lot of fun to poke through. Classics well laid out on each page; we took a representative sample of scans for you. Very nice collection ready to be continued. (Image)
