1937 Coronation 2d 3d 5d & 1/- complete sheets of 30 (5x6) with John Ash imprint at lower-right, the 2d & 5d with One Plate Dot below the imprint and the 3d with Two Plate Dots, mounted in blue presentation folder with 'Special Issue of New Guinea Postage Stamps ... Commemorating the Coronation ...' title page, each sheet apparently stuck-down at the corners in the margins only (the 3d with perf separation at the lower-left corner) and presumably otherwise unmounted, a few areas of very light tropicalisation visible otherwise very fine.
JAPANESE OCCUPATION: 1943 (Aug & Sep) Japanese Army 'Dove & Helmet' Postal Cards in slightly different shades of vermilion, both to Japan from an army surgeon at Rabaul or a soldier in Eastern New Guinea, different censor chops in red. [With brief notations by a Japanese-speaker]
