image 1913 (Jan 16) envelope with printed address of George Wills & Co (Perth) and rare franking of 'ONE PENNY' on 2d yellow single and two strips of 3 tied by 'NARROGIN' cds, minor tonespots. A very scarce stamp on cover, and this may be the largest recorded franking, paying the domestic 1d rate x7. George Wills & Co were manufacturers' agents, not to be confused with WD & HO Wills, also in Murray Street. (Image1)

image LETTER CARDS: 1902 (July) Swan 1d red with 'FOR USE WITHIN WESTERN AUSTRALIA' heading LC1, minor patches of missing gum otherwise very fine unused. Printed in Melbourne, the admonition was incompatible with the prevailing 1902 WA postage rates: 1d was the town letter rate only, the intrastate rate being 2d. Only 2400 were delivered to Perth, very few were used, and they were withdrawn circa -.10.1902. (Image1)
