1969, 5¢ Postal Card, Approved Die Proof on Card Stock (Scott UX4PD), 104 x 182mm, similar to the issued card but with black "framelines" on three sides, faint red fingerprint at bottom right, reverse with boxed "Color and Die Proof Approved ………. UN Postal Administration" handstamp with blue ink signature and "12/6/68" date with "subject & comment", glue stains from adherences show through slightly, Extremely Fine, listed in Scott; unlisted Gaines (who died in 1998; five years before the UN Archives were sold at auction), Unique, ex-United Nations Archives lot 3769 which sold for $250 hammer.
