Folded letter from Boston, Massachusetts dated November 29, 1799, addressed to Nathaniel Cushing in Pembroke, Mass. Clear straightline “BOSTON” handstamp with accompanying circular “29 NO” Bishop mark. Manuscript “8” rated for a distance under 40 miles. Manuscript notation at bottom left, "Hanover Post Office, to be left at,” indicating intended delivery through the neighboring post office in Hanover.
