AEROGRAMMES: 2000 2dh Falcon scenic issue for 6th International Aerospace Exhibition with views of the Airport on both sides, unused. Superb. This form weighs more than a standard envelope and was probably not intended to be postally used! In fact, no commercial usage has been recorded by us. Apparently, this was the last UAE issue. AEROGRAMMES: 2006 social usage of 1997 New Design 2dh (200f) Falcon to Australia with letter headed "Dubai Airport/17.2.2006" but with English-only 'EMIRATES POST/19.02.06/UAE' machine cancel. Superb. From Gary Watson to his wife. Gary struggled to find the Airport post office. The clerk took 15 minutes to locate a few of these forms, saying "nobody had ever requested one". Then two days for the aerogramme to be processed with no indication from where, presumably Dubai. (Image1)
