image R586 F-VF NH, sheet of (100) w/ printing oddity, 1¢ carmine Hamilton documentary, series 1952 Ovpt, perf 11; after printing & gumming, but before perforating, a large tear occurred causing numerous creases & gum abrasions as a result of the paper folding over below the tear, the tear was repaired by BEP with an unprinted but gummed & perforated (11x10 1/2) margin Blk/10 then the sheet was perforated (11x11), the Blk used as the repair has normal 11x10 1/2 perfs as well as diagonal "crazy perfs" perf 11x11, very unusual !!!
