Impressive topical collection from the 1950 to the 1980s in five cartons. Thousands of mint stamps in full sets, singles, and souvenir sheets in mounts. Consists of an A-Z United Nations related collection in twenty-nine KaBe albums and four additional albums of World Refugee, Freedom from Hunger, and WHO. Unfortunately, this collection was stored in a humid climate which resulted in many of the stamps reacting to this humidity with minor to excessive foxing and toning. Still plenty of material to satisfy your topical cravings. Needs examination to come up with a comfortable number. Please see photos (Image)

Become an instant expert. Up for auction is a ten-frame ATA exhibit from the Roland Essig estate entitled “Great Lakes Passenger Steamships of Old: Travel in Bygone Days, 1880’s-1930’s.†The recipient of many awards, Mr. Essig assembled this 120-page exhibit to give viewers an idea of what traveling around the Great Lakes was like during the heyday of recreational travel on steamships. It includes exquisitely prepared pages with descriptive text, approximately 500 posted and unposted postcards, and hand-drawn maps, along with a binder of supplemental research and postcards. Many styles of postcards are represented, and they show steamship exteriors and interiors, popular excursion destinations, departure points, etc. There is also a section on well-known Great Lakes ship disasters. View the entire exhibit online at the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors website. Wow! Ready for a new owner with new ideas. (Image)
