Texas Cover,Lot, contains (63) TX related covers, most from the 1936 Centennial celebration with ccls and cachet from many different towns, some duplication, including a full Event red and blue Dec. 7 cachet from San Antonio, as well as a 1937 Greater Texas and Pan-American Exposition red, blue and green cacheted Expo cover with violet show hs cachet on reverse and #1098 FDC with violet Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., Gulf Coast chapter cachet. Many of TX covers addressed to Lieutenant Governor Walter Woodul. Besides these, there are 3 non-TX covers: 1) 1938 National Airmail week cover from New Orleans; 2) #927 Florida stamps with brown cachet from Florida Academy of Sciences (Mellones #927-A, cv $35); and 3) a 1960 cover from Santa Barbara, CA with ccl on an Avery label which was used as a postage stamp, but with no postage stamp and no postage due markings.
