1901 Surcharges on QV Keyplates New Colours '3 cents' on 10c ultramarine & brown, on 16c chestnut & blue & on 36c brown & carmine and '6 cents' on 8c purple & ultramarine SG 37-40, the first with 'Specimen' handstamp Samuel Type SY4, the others with 'SPECIMEN' Samuel Type SY3 haphazardly applied one Diagonally Upwards, one Vertically Downwards, and one Diagonally Upwards Inverted, a few mostly minor aging marks & small hinge remainders.
