Printed quarterly letter from a female Methodist missionary who calls Sibu "a place of confusion of tongues" and writes of a trip to the interior among the Dyaks: "... The only way to go is by ... long-boat ... about 115 miles ...", finishing "Airmail to or from Borneo takes two weeks. Regular mail (1st class) takes two MONTHS". (Image1)
