Southard in Trenton then forwarded to Washington DC with the rate crossed out and rerated "Free" and postmarked in Trenton the next day, with message from his father Henry asking him not to act on a family matter until he hears from Henry again; ink stain at top just into cancel and small faults, Fine to Very Fine appearance, see both sides of this folded letter online.
