1942 WW2 Murnau POW camp local post for polish officers in (district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Oberbayern, Bavaria, Germany), 1942 15f red brown Christmas postal stationery card with related illustrated reverse. Cancelled MURNAU OFLAG VIIA 24.12.42 (date in manuscript). This postal stationery is a great rarity, the expert J.Walocha estimates that in all conditions only around 3-4 are known. The Fischer catalogue records the olive black version and a proof version in black see CP6 26000ZL (5890 CHF). This example in a completely different colour belongs to the rarest stamps of the Murneau camp and to one of the most valuable items related to the Christmas topic.
