1942-45 Japanese Forces in World War II mail all identified as from the Philippines used to Japan comprising Postal Cards Dove & Helmet x4, Four Characters x7 one with illustration on the reverse, Star x6 one the special airmail issue with the corner clipped-off to indicate carriage by air, Samurai on Horseback 3s brown and 2s red x2 one the special airmail issue uprated with Pictorials Admiral 2s red but the corner not clipped-off (central fold), also two picture postcards one with Pictorials Hydro Plant 3s green added (faulty) and an envelope sent unfranked with Four Characters cachets, a variety of censor markings, condition a little variable but generally fine to very fine.

1945 Repatriation of British POWs with two telegrams from different soldiers with essentially identical messages and replies to both using GB 6d Aerogrammes addressed as instructed to "Australian Base PO/Melbourne" (both returned to GB, one with 'NO Record of/Repatriation/...' cachet in violet, also a telegram to another repatriated soldier, and irregular usage by an English "repatriot" [sic] of American V-Mail (airgraph) from USS 'Monitor' (with the delivery envelope processed through the US Army Postal Service. Interesting group.
