1854 (SG.87b) Laureates Wmk Double-Lined Figures 3d yellow-green WATERMARK ERROR '2', complete margins on three sides (4th just touching), small margin nick in lower left corner. A great rarity - there was no unused example in the "Gary Diffen Collection of Australian Colonial Errors" (Spink, April 2020) and fewer than five unused examples are recorded, this example being superior to that held in the Royal Collection; grossly undercatalogued at £7500.
