image POSTAL HISTORY: 1901 (March 21) usage of German Reply Postal Card (2pf)+2pf Reply Half, to Germany with combination franking German New Guinea Yachts 3pf brown tied by largely very fine 'HERBERTSHOHE/DEUTSCH-/NEU-GUINEA' cds cancels and another complete strike at upper-left, carried via New South Wales with Sydney '27AP/10' (year error) transit cds and 'HALLE(SAALE)/ANKUNFT/2.6.01' arrival both on the face, a couple of very minor blemishes. The reply card was valid for use from German New Guinea, and the added franking sufficed for the 5pf postcard rate to German territories. (Image1)

image 1937 Coronation 3d blue SG 209 marginal pair from the lower-left corner of the sheet, the left-hand unit Imperforate Between Stamp & Margin (Murray Payne S2a; unlisted by Gibbons), light even gum discolouration in the lower margin extending 5mm onto the base of the stamps does not affect the superb facial appearance, unmounted, Cat £2600+ for a mounted single. RPSL Certificate (2025) states "full original gum ... gum in bottom selvedge and into stamp is affected by storage". Rare: it is likely that only one sheet was affected, resulting in a mere six examples. (Image1)
