Seven documents from the 18th century which we believe originated from Austria. The documents are in German and there are dates around 1762, 1785 and 1800. These seem like war bonds for whatever conflict was in progress during that time period. One of the documents appears to be from Maria Theresa while another is from Kaiser Joseph II and still another from Kaiser Franz III. Keep in mind these are figures in the Holy Roman Empire just a few years before it disbanded. There are what looks like redemption coupons still attached and two of the documents have wax seals which have detached over the decades. These are not on paper as we know it but on some sort of rag-based paper. If you are into history, this lot may well be for you. (Image)
