Ephemera and et cetera in a large plastic tub. The non-philatelic leftovers from a dozen or so estates obtained by the consignor. We left it all in the tub as there are a few newspapers with historical headlines that didn’t fit in our standard size cartons. We also spotted old magazines, Russian coins, Civil War blank forms, advertising, and much more. Sure to be a money-maker for the person who knows how to market this stuff. Inspection invited as you will find more than our description can list. (Image)

The Horolovar Anno 1492 Columbus Clock in its original shipping box Is a faithful reproduction of the original American clock made for the 1893 Columbian Exposition. The reproduction is made of sterner stuff than was available in the 1890’s. Carefully fabricated by the Adolf Held Company, an established Black Forest manufacturer of wooden wheel clocks, the Horolovar reproduction has been made under quality controls unknown in 1893. All of the wood has been kiln-dried and chemically impregnated to prevent expansion, contraction, and warping. The bushings and escape teeth are made of long-lasting, practically frictionless nylon.
