JAPANESE IMPERIAL ADMIRAL'S FLAG WWII (?) red on white linen (2550 x 1720mm), large rising sun with eight expanding rays to border, red horizontal bands above and below, flown on Japanese imperial naval vessels to indicate Admiral on board, multi-piece construction, small holes and stains not detracting. A very rare survivor for the type.
