1884-91 'JOHOR' Overprints on Straits Settlements QV 2c pale rose Type 10 SG 10 complete pane of 60 (6x10) from the Triplet Setting with the margins removed, the left-hand triplet in the fifth row Overprint Double SG 10b x3, the left-hand triplet in the eighth row with Partial Overprint Double, all units in the third & sixth columns with Broken Serif on Left Foot of 'R', but without Narrow 'J' of 'JOHOR' [Pos 6/6] that occurred only on the forme of 60, well-centred, light overall gum tropicalisation & a couple of small tonespots on the reverse not affecting the variety units, unmounted, Cat £4500+ for mounted singles. A rare pane: Dr FE Wood stated at page 9 that he owned a complete pane of the triplet setting.
