Hardbound in red leatherette with gilt and black stamping on spone and front cover, red endpapers. Publisher’s errata sheet tipped in onto the second blank page. Pages are fresh and clean, the top edge brightly gilt. Extensive research on Stradivarius, many photos of violins throughout. A summary of his works, a bibliography and an index accompany.
