1879 4c. to 16c. set, watermark CA over Crown sideways, the 2c to 12c upper marginal and the 16c lower marginal each handstamped SPECIMEN, the 6c and 12c never hinged, very fine and fresh colours in superb condition. Ex Marcus Samuel, and emanating from the single record sheets of ten of each value retained by De La Rue, which circa 1900 were broken into corner blocks of four (Ex Dale Lichtenstein), corner pairs (ex Bickly) and four sets of singles.
