1938-52 KGVI Pictorials 5/- 'Isle of Wood and Water' Single Line Perf 14 SG 132a, well-centred, small-part Kingston cds cancel, Cat £275. In December 1940, De La Rue's printing works were destroyed by German bombing during the Blitz. The surviving stock of unperforated stamps was sent to Watford for perforating.
