1943 E.A.F 1d - 9d and M.E.F 1/- all overprinted SPECIMEN (11½x1¾mm san-serif capitals sloping to the right), all additionally handstamped "ULTRAMAR", fine mint. The E.A.F overprints unlisted with Specimen overprints by Samuel or S.G; the Ultramar handstamp however applied in Lisbon to U.P.U Specimens received for the Portuguese Colonies, apparently proving these Specimen overprints were sent out by the U.P.U.
