POSTAL HISTORY - BOMBAY-ADEN SEA POST OFFICE 1868-1914: Extensive annotated collection on display pages with many scarce to rare markings including a good range of the 1860s-1870s oval types, several items with characteristically underinked strikes of the boxed registration handstamps, other instructional handstamps including 'MALDIRIGE' x3, 'MISSENT IN/INDIAN MAIL' & several taxed items, mostly between India & Great Britain but other origins/destinations including Burma, Persian Gulf, Portuguese India, Luxemburg, Ottoman Empire & Argentina etc, the condition is very mixed but there are many fine to very fine &/or attractive items throughout. An excellent basis for upgrading and expansion. Ex Bruce Haynes.
The lot also includes some loose material, the remainders of Ted Proud's two-volume collection, and a bundle of mostly PPCs including many fine Indian cards.
