Postcard used on Java. 3½ Cent General issue for the Naval area written at Bandjermasin (family affairs), not cancelled on Borneo but in Soerabaja 30.9.03, from there sent to the nearby Bangil. The censor mark, in violet, is a common type used on Java Bu.JC36. The addressee Kaspoelanwar, child of the sender, cancelled 3 times his personal chop in red on the front. It was faster to ask a friend going to Java to mail the card there, then to send it through the southeast Borneo postal service! (Image)
