Rated RRRR. Ex Baron de Ferrary, Ernest Lye, Colonel Napier, 'Hamilton' and Lord Samuel Vestey: sold for £2650. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2019) states "extremely rare...superb & fresh". The very fine Vestey and 'Tamiami' and superb 'Besancon' examples sold for £2520, $2995 (Sale 236 Lot 616) and SFr4980 respectively. Absent from Don Pearce's collection. (Image1)

Rated RRRR. Don Pearce's example - small separation fault at upper-left, also dated 'AP12/69' - sold for $1435 (Sale 247 Lot 374). The two stamps were formerly a pair, of which this was the left-hand unit.
