1928 'Ile de France' Ship to Shore Airmail Surcharges '10 FR' on 1fr50c Pasteur Yvert PA4 (Michel 231; SG 465), well centred, guarantee handstamp, Cat €14,000 (£15,000). Dr G Fulpius (1948) & Jean-Francois Brun (2004) Certificates. One of the great Airmail Rarities of the World. [Only 900 were printed, of which the majority were used. Much better centred than the mint example sold at our auction of 26.3.2021 for $7375]
