NEW HEBRIDES: 1907 New Caledonia PPC ('Marchands de porcs/Pig Dealers') with message headed "18-5-07 Vila New Hebrides", to Cornwall with GB 1d cancelled on arrival at London JY8/07, 'DULOE' arrival cds, minor blemishes. Ex Jim Crompton. [This card was probably from a crew member aboard HMS 'Psyche' which made bi-monthly visits to Vila. New Hebrides stamps were first issued in Oct 1908. This item is much scarcer than cards & covers with NSW stamps cancelled at Vila, that routinely sell for $1000+ each]
