FALKLANDS WAR: Lot of letters between an Argentine soldier in the islands to his family in the continent, including an aerogram sent by the soldier on 27/MAY/1982 cancelled "9409 ISLAS MALVINAS - REPUBLICA ARGENTINA", 12 covers (10 including the original letters) sent by friends and family to the soldier betwen April 18 and June 10, some with free franks and others with varied postages, also 7 letters sent to the soldier (without the envelopes). The texts are interesting, the quality varies from defective to very fine. Letters delivered to Argentine soldiers are very rare because they had to overcome the inconveniences of war or being seized by British soldiers after Argentina surrendered. The letters in existence are few, and here we are offering a complete archive! Very interesting group, of philatelic and historic value! (Image)
