POSTAL HISTORY: 1945 (Mar 27) commercial airmail cover to Australia with 2½d Limes & 2/6d Lake x2, presumably sent trans-Atlantic as the part-censor label on the reverse appears to be British, it is largely obscured by Melbourne censor label with superb cachet in violet. Very scarce: we have recorded no wartime airmail covers from Australia to Dominica. (Image1)
