Glossy b/w photograph of famous pioneer aviator KATHERINE STINSON with autograph in blue pen. She was the first civilian pilot to fly the mail in Canada & was one of the first pilots to ever fly at night. The photo shows Stinson receiving a mail bag from Calgary Postmaster George King prior for her 1918 flight to Edmonton. There are only a few covers known to exist from this flight. VF.
