1919 Hawker Flight 'FIRST TRANS-ATLANTIC AIR POST, April 1919' opt 3c brown, with the correct JAR control initials on back etc. Superb fresh MNH, with nice never hinged original gum & excellent centring. SG 142 cat £22,000 for M, should be at least double £44,000 MNH. Unitrade C1 cat C$70,000 for MNH. Only 200 printed of which 18 faulty examples were destroyed, 95 used on letters, 86 sold in aid of Marine Disasters Fund & 11 presented to dignitaries.
