1857-72 Mostly Used Collection in small Chinese album with much duplication in loose easily dislodged bundles of variable numbers causing album bulging. The bundles are mixed mint/used with the vast majority used. The mint stamps need to be checked to differentiate between MLH and MNG, particularly early. The 1857-59 imperf 2d SG #3a and 6d SG #6 (£250) are both defective. There is value in the duplication including multiple 1935 KGV SJ sets, 1937 Coronation sets and 1938-49 KGVI definitives to 5r. The collection finishes at 1972 SG #590, ending the Ceylon period. In addition, another Chinese album with1972-88 Sri Lanka scattered used in range SG #591-1042. (100s) (Image1)
