1852-1991 a truly bizarre collection in three crammed/bulging albums (1852 [Colony]-1957, 1957-80 and 1980-91) with easily dislodged and already loose and bound bundles in the 1.000s. The 1852-1957 album in particular, is so absurdly jam-packed, that most pages are enclosed in sealed hard plastic sleeves, making assessment problematic. The better 1852-95 content is largely defective with odd good-fine used including 1859 1c SG #29, 12½c SG #39 and 1893 20c SG #115 x3 (5, £360). Although difficult to closely check, the post 1908 Quebec Centenary content appears to include most of the key items in the various sets including the 1928-29 50c Bluenose SG #284 x2. Also noted is the 1908 Quebec 10c SG #193 fine mint (£110) and a cigarette tin crammed with KGVI-QEII bundles. Stout-hearted viewing will be rewarded at the estimate. (1,000s) (Image1)
