This shoe was made famous by Larry 'Grandma' Johnson during his time with the Charlotte Hornets. Featuring a lace cover/saver - a detail more commonly seen on skate shoes at the time - this limited retro release is distinguished by the '2' branding on the lace cover. This was the second model in the signature shoe line of NBA star Shawn Kemp. Kemp, who played for the Seattle Supersonics, was known as the ‘Reign Man’ following his thunderous slam dunks, and the colourway complemented the Sonics uniforms of the era.
