1932 (March-May) England-Australia per Lady Isobel ("Bee") Chaytor and RT ("Rab") Richards AAMC 252 with typed "Carried by Lady Chaytor/on her Flight from/England to Australia" and initialled "IC", addressed back to England with Australian KGV 2d red tied by Sydney slogan cancel of '20MAY/1932' and 'WARRINGTON LANCS/27JU/32/ 6 ' arrival backstamp, light even soiling, under-catalogued at $650. With the pilot's enclosed note stating "Forgotten to be posted at Java/May 3rd 1932". In Bulgaria, a poor landing damaged the propellor. At Calcutta, Chaytor became ill & decided to head for Perth by sea. Richards flew on to Darwin, then headed south-west for Perth, the first pilot arriving from overseas to do so.
