Pair of M/Ss from the U/R corner of the sheet of 15, well centred, the first CTO with the Exhibition cds of 31OC28 in red, full unmounted o.g., Cat $825+.
Block of 4 M/Ss from the top of the sheet of 15, well centred, shallow thin in the upper margin, the two upper units CTO with the Exhibition cds of 31OC28 in blue or red, the lower units are unmounted, Cat $1675++.
M/S from the U/L corner of the sheet of 15, CTO with the Exhibition cds of 29OC28 in green ACSC 133MSwa, horizontal crease in the upper margin, large-part o.g., Cat $625. As obvious an example as we have seen. Underrated: the ACSC states "The green is quite rare". [For decades, the ACSC listed red & green inks only. However, that was an historic error for red & blue, that has been corrected in later editions. Only a handful of examples with the true green ink have been recorded. NB: suggestions that the blue ink is an admixture of the red & green inks are nonsense]
M/S on plain cover to Tasmania cancelled with Exhibition cds of 31OC28 in red & in blue, red/white provisional R label (blank as usual), Cat $475 for the M/S with blue cancel; unpriced on cover.
SHEET STAMP: 3d + KGV 3d Die I tied to cover to California by very fine 'LORD HOWE ISLAND/11JY/1929/NSW' cds, scarce red/white 'NSW/LORD HOWE IS' R label, Sydney & San Francisco transits & Oakland arrival b/s. Superb!
