1841 1d red imperf accumulation of around 1000 used examples on pages, most are Plated and many have Plate characteristics, small varieties etc. noted. Approximately 450 have MC cancels (some ‘distinct’ types incl. Dublin and Norwich, the odd number in MC etc) with the balance bearing 1844 Type cancels. 1841 1d red imperf collection of over 1000 used examples neatly presented on pages in a lovely old philatelic album. Arranged by Plate number, there are around 650 examples with MC cancels, a few from the ‘black’ Plates, then with various quantities from Plates 12 to 43. This is followed by 350 or so from the later Plates. Condition is mixed but a very useful assembly with an impressive catalogue value in excess of £60,000. (Image)
