Adelaide: 1905 'Bowling Green, Adelaide' with three ends in progress outside the clubrooms with 'ABC' pennant flying, message in German, bumped corners. Marvellous animated view.
Adelaide: 1906 South Australian Series 'POLICE/MOUNTED & FOOT' showing a review of Adelaide's finest including platoons mounted on horse and bicycle, very fine unused.
Adelaide: c.1906 'Unveiling National Memorial, Adelaide' being the 'big reveal' of the Boer War statue of a trooper on his horse, dignitaries in the foreground, lines of soldiers & a huge crowd, coloured & very fine unused.
Adelaide: 1907 'Fire at Harrold Colton & Co Ltd, Currie Street' (lookers-on watching the firemen at work with their hoses), fine used at 'BALHANNAH' in 1907. [John Colton arrived at Adelaide in 1839. He was a saddler who in 1855 amalgamated with Harrold Brothers Ironmongers. On 5.2.1907, a fire in the company's warehouse caused £80,000 worth of damage]

Adelaide: c.1910 'HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA WITH REV WJ MAYERS AND HIS TRAVELLING PARTY' of young bagpipers & other boys in uniform, superb unused. [This was an English group that toured New Zealand & Australia in 1908-10 raising £17,500 to build a hospital and an orphanage for girls in England]
Glenelg: 1936 'Old Gum Tree, Glenelg, South Australia' real photo postcard with South Australia Centenary 3d blue affixed on view side tied light 'PYGERY/-3AU36/S.A.' cds to produce a 'Maximum Card', another fine strike of cds on back.
Kadina: 1908 real photo card of an orator addressing a sizeable crowd outside the Savings Bank of South Australia building at Kadina, also features the Post Office & several bicycles, 1d tied by 'KADINA RAILWAY' cds, minor concealed fault on the view. Terrific shot.
Kingston South-East: 1914 real photo card of the town with the Post Office in the centre & a large advertising sign for Amcoorie Tea, KGV 1d red tied by 'KINGSTON/STH AUSTR' cds, to Tamleugh West (Vic) very sadly without an arrival cds.
Murnpeowie: 1925 real photo card 'Camel Team Murnpeowie/8.8.1925' showing two wagons heavily laden with bales of wool and two teams of ten camels each, a couple of minor creases. A rare Outback card. [Murnpeowie Station is 100km E of Marree. In 1924, it was more than 10,000 square kilometers in area, carrying 60,000 sheep]
