1840 1d Mulready Envelope (Forme 2, Stereo A148). Very fine used example sent from Winchcombe to Evesham, neatly cancelled by a bright orange-red MC with a matching Winchcombe UDC at lower left and a Moreton in Marsh cds at upper right for SP.12.1840. Minor peripheral faults nevertheless a very attractive Mulready and an unusual cancellation colour. Ex "Mayflower"; 2010 BPA Cert. (Image)
