image 1868, Coat of Arms, 50c blue eleven stars, perf 12 (Scott 17), tied by two heavy indistinct double-circle c.d.s.s on a cover to Masseube, France, via the British Postal Agency in Cobija; the letter is datelined Aug 30, 1874 at Sucre then given to the British post office with black "Cobija/C/SP 21 74" c.d.s., sent due by British packet with Callao and London transits on the reverse, Calais entry plus several French transits and an Oct 30 Masseube receiver; a rather heavy letter being charged "30" decimes due and with "GB/1F90c" British accounting handstamp; the stamp has hidden flaws, which are not readily apparent; the cover has considerable fold separation, some of it hinge-reinforced, and and there is a small piece of tge upper left corner has been repaied, none of which affects the stamp or markings; an incredibly rare cover, not only being a combination between the Bolivian post office and the British Agency, but this is one of only two covers recorded bearing the 11-Star 50c value., with 2008 Moorhouse certificate.
