SCANDINAVIA COLLECTION, several thousand mixed mint and used, hinged and mounted in a Scott speciality album, there are both mint and used present for many issues, the collection runs to about 1974 and includes fairly strong B.O.B.'s for each country, the overall condition is mixed and there are faults to be expected but generally pretty clean, there are many varieties here especially in colors, also some nice cancels in the early issues, this collection consists of: Denmark($6,000), Faroe Islands($200), Finland($4,000), Greenland($100), Iceland($1,800) and Norway($3,100); there are values up to about $250 with some higher and plenty of items in the $50-150 range, a huge number of stamps and good amount of total retail value here, there are many speciality items to break out, also we noticed many of the mint were NH, we have included a number of scans of the better pages and they are available on our website, this is a much better than normal collection for this area, well worth carefull consideration.

EXTENSIVE WORLDWIDE COLLECTION IN 12 BLUE SCOTT INTERNATIONAL ALBUMS, includes about 35,000 different mint and used singles and sets, hinged in 12 blue Scott International albums, the collection runs to about 1950 and runs from A-Z plus a U.S. section too, the overall condition is pretty clean but faults are to be expected, there is a good percentage of mint here but most of the catalog value is in the used, this is not a JUNK collection!! we saw hundreds of items with catalog values in the $10-100 range and dozens even higher, many of the major countries are well represented, the U.S. is very strong and the Netherlands and Colonies section is amazing with a very high degree of completeness and easily thousands of dollars in catalog value alone, the number of different stamps is our estimate based on a few album counts, the total catalog value is difficult to estimate but several of the large countries are certainly in the thousands of dollars and many others are in the hundreds of dollars, we feel our estimate is conservative but viewing this collection in person will be a huge advantage to the serious bidder and we wouldn't be surprised if the total catalog value here would be in excess of $75,000, a rare opportunity to obtain a huge number of stamps and a significant amount of value in one shot, certainly one of the better Scott International collections we have offered in quite some time.
