Four 1896-1899 Puerto Rico Rebellion Prisoners History Records, for prisoners who were convicted by Spanish run Puerto Rican courts for various crimes, the front of each document lists the current charges and sentence and the reverse lists all of the prior times the individual spent in jail, documents #1287486 & 488 are for a man and a woman charged and convicted of "rebellion" and sent to the royal prison at San Juan and served about one month, a man charged and convicted of multiple crimes over a 3 year period including slander and kidnapping, and a 4th for a crime in 1896, each with minor insect damage at bottom which does not interefere with the records, 3 were purchased from an eBay seller in 1999 in 2 listings and have detailed descriptions of the criminals and their criminal history; the others are imaged online.
