An absolutely incredible collection mounted on quadrille pages eons ago, and from its fresh-looking appearance, probably hasn't seen the light of day for over 50 years. Begins with a large die proof on card of the 1842 City Despatch local followed up by the 1865 Loewenberg essay of the 3¢ Washington on onionskin paper in an imperf sheet of 25, numerous frames and vignettes for the 1861 issue, a colorful array of essays for the 1869 Pictorials, and I could go on and on and on, where every page could be singled out as a highlight.
