British North America, 1857/1949, attractive mint collection, comprising 274 stamps, of which 253 are Newfoundland issues, neatly mounted in hingeless Lighthouse pages, the Newfoundland section featuring a fresh 1860 3d green with three clear margins and original gum, several well-centred issues of the late nineteenth century, then highly complete from 1897 onward, with many complete or near-complete sets including 1910 John Guy (lithographed and engraved), 1911 Royal Family, 1919 Caribou, and others, approximately 25% never hinged, a pleasing and well-organised collection well suited for continuation, fine to very fine overall. British North America, 1857/1947, dealer stockof many hundreds, with emphasis on Newfoundland including Heraldic (no gum) and more than two stock pages of First Cents issues and shades, neatly set out on 19 double-sided pages of a 32-page stockbook, with duplication of up to a dozen or more of many of the Newfoundland issues including postage dues and air mail, lesser so with New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island; more than half this accumulation is mint, with some never hinged throughout, the 19th-Century issues are hinged or with no gum, five pages of Newfoundland and New Brunswick revenues accompany, usual mixed condition among the earlier stamps, largely fine or better.
